- Shipped Vera, an AI assistant for career-services staff: React chat UI, a FastAPI and LangGraph backend, and 400+ MCP tools that check the user's permissions on every call.
- Rebuilt it as an agent harness: model-composed dynamic UI, durable threads with background runs and approvals, thread summaries, and evals gated in CI.
- Shared one cached prompt prefix across users for 12 hours, keeping 98%+ of input tokens cached.
- Cut follow-up time to first token from 11.2s to 3.1s by skipping capability routing on follow-ups.
- Built calendar and coaching features for a platform with 1,300+ daily and 18K+ monthly users.
- Built feedback scheduling that assigns 1,100+ requests a month across 40+ coaches.
- Moved search for 384 communities from Elasticsearch to OpenSearch while writes kept flowing.
- Upgraded a PHP 5.6 service to Laravel 12 and migrated 1.6M documents with zero mismatches.
Processing Foundation, Google Summer of Code
- Added 300+ unit tests to p5.sound, taking the suite from 60 passing and 11 failing to 389 passing, and fixed the bugs they exposed.
- Contributed to p5.js and the p5.js web editor before and after the program.
